to the Talkeetna Hideaway community. The amenity rich building
is fully self-contained with all the comforts of home. There
are nine fully-furnished rooms that share access to new appliances
in a fully equipped kitchen and entertainment electronics,
including DVD / VCR player connected to Stereo TV.
These great rooms are available for year-round occupancy or can also
be rented on a nightly basis for guests.

Cuda Cabins are named for their construction
by Mark Cuda, who owns and operates the local sawmill. They
feature a 12 X 16 footprint and have a large upper loft for
sleeping. The floorspace is maximized with shelving for storage,
which allows good living space for couples or roommates. These
cabins are fully insulated and have ample electrical outlets
for powering household electronics. Painted walls, floor coverings,
blinds on windows. A toyo stove
We currently have four cabins on property and are $650 monthly for single
occupancy, $750 monthly for double-occupancy in the Summer.
Winter rates are $550 for single-occupancy, and $650 for double-occupancy.

Trapper Cabins have a long and storied
Alaskan tradition. Many of our guests who are living alone,
enjoy the rustic charm of the Trapper Cabins. They measure
8 X 12 and feature a single south facing window to keep the
midnight sun at bay during our long summer days.
These cabins offer exceptional value for the person seeking safety from
the spring mosquitos and fall bears. A secure alternative to camping
in the wild is only $400 a month single occupancy, $500 for double-occupancy.

Wall
Tents |
|
|
| |
|
|
Wall Tents have a long history in Talkeetna. Many Talkeetna
residents spent thier first summer as well as thier first winter
in these very wall tents, which speak volumes for thier hospitality.
The main advantage of these tents, when compared to using a personal tent
and camping out on the river are their location, security and the amenities
that are included with their rental. For example, when factoring in the
savings of taking paid showers, the wall tents nearly pay for themselves.
A secure alternative to camping in the wild is only $200 / month single
occupancy, $300 double occupancy.
